Tour Jasper
History Pin
Jasper County Middle School students, under the direction of Ms. Mandi Behling, created a walking/driving tour of 116 historical buildings and sites in Monticello and Jasper County using History Pin. The site interfaces with Google Maps. The students placed pins and uploaded information and pictures of the buildings to the interactive map. Visitors to Monticello and Jasper County can click on the link to access the map and take a self-guided tour of the area.

The Sac-O-Suds is the location where 2 young men are accused of murder in the 90’s comedy ‘My Cousin Vinny’. It is located at the Jasper/Butts County line on Highway 16 West. Stop by and snap a pic in front of this iconic location!
The Jasper County Courthouse is located on the town square in Monticello, GA. The majority of the court scenes were filmed in the main courtroom, which is located on the second floor of this historic landmark.
